Ayam Cemani – Hatching Eggs
Rare genetics. Striking beauty. A truly unforgettable breeding experience.
Our Ayam Cemani hatching eggs come from carefully selected fibro-pigmented breeding stock, chosen for their deep coloration, calm temperament, and strong vitality. These remarkable birds originate from Indonesia, where their dramatic all-black appearance has been admired for centuries. From feathers and skin to comb, legs, and tongue — the Ayam Cemani’s unique look is the result of fibromelanosis, a rare genetic trait that intensifies as the birds mature.
Because the breed is still developing in the U.S., pigment distribution can vary. Some chicks may hatch with lighter areas or show minor color “leakage” as they grow. This is a normal part of working with this rare and culturally significant breed, and part of what makes hatching Cemani so exciting.
